About Us

Our Mission

To guide Africans, especially women and youth, toward the right learning opportunities, providing mentorship, accountability, and structure that turn information into real-life transformation.

Why SheAdvance Exist:

Africa faces a growing knowledge-usability gap. While millions now have access to digital learning and development resources, most learners struggle to translate these opportunities into tangible progress.

According to IFC (2020), only 26% of Nigerians possess the basic digital literacy skills required for today’s economy, despite the abundance of online courses. The World Bank (2022) reports that more than half of African youth remain unemployed or underemployed because their skills don’t match labor market needs.

Courses are often taken at random, left unfinished, or poorly aligned with personal goals. Learners frequently lack structure, mentorship, and accountability leading to low completion and minimal economic impact.

Sheadvance Impact Enterprise was founded to address this issue by connecting learning with results. Through an integrated system of assessment, curated and guided learning, mentorship, and accountability, we help individuals move from information to transformation. We exist to ensure that every course taken results in growth that can be measured, applied, and monetized.

Our Story

Sheadvance Impact Enterprise was born out of a realization that access to online learning does not equal empowerment. While more Nigerians are participating in digital and entrepreneurship courses, few see measurable benefits because they lack guidance and follow-up.

Founder Felicia O. Aladeniyi, a management professional and self-taught digital enthusiast, became concerned about this disconnect and began self-learning in 2020 to explore how technology could empower women. Her journey revealed that most women were not limited by opportunity but by accessibility and relevance — they simply didn’t know which courses to take or how to apply what they learned.

In 2022, she launched Sheadvance to help women and youth — especially those in Southwest Nigeria — access the right learning opportunities with structure and mentorship. After a six-month pilot training for six women in 2024 and an online prototype for 35 learners in 2025, Sheadvance is evolving into a connector platform that links individuals to relevant free and paid development opportunities while providing accountability and guidance.

Through its SKIA (Sheadvance Knowledge-to-Impact Assessment), AI-curated learning pathways, and localized mentorship, Sheadvance ensures that learning leads to skills growth, employability, and income improvement — closing the usability gap that data and experience continue to highlight.
